Leveraging the exceptional thermal insulation properties of aerogels, a nano-aerogel thermal insulation coating for architectural applications has been developed. This novel, eco-friendly, water-based nanomaterial is a single-component system formulated using high-performance resins, silica aerogel powder, and other advanced additives.
Appearing as a viscous paste, it can be applied using methods such as troweling or spraying; it exhibits excellent performance and remains free of cracks even when applied in thick layers. It can be applied directly onto cement walls, where it undergoes a chemical reaction with the substrate to form a robust, monolithic structure.
Excellent thermal insulation performance
A thin 3mm aerogel coating can reduce the temperature from 100 °C to just over 50° C.
Lightweight
aerogel coatings have low density and are lightweight. According to actual calculations, a 1mm thick aerogel thermal insulation coating has a total dry film weight of approximately 200g per square meter . The low dry film density and ultra-light weight avoid the risk of excessive weight causing the building insulation layer to detach.
Waterproof and moisture-proof
The waterproof and moisture-proof coating surface does not retain water or stains, effectively preventing water seepage and mold growth in the walls.
Excellent sound insulation
The coating has a porous structure, providing superior sound insulation. The aerogel insulation coating can reduce the speed of sound from 340 m/s to 64 m/s, and a 3mm coating can reduce noise by about 20dB, making it an excellent sound insulation and noise reduction material.
Energy saving and emission reduction
This product is a new type of thermal insulation material that can greatly reduce energy loss, effectively reduce carbon dioxide emissions, and accelerate the goal of “carbon peak and carbon neutrality”.
Water-based and environmentally friendly
This product is water-based, contains no toxic or harmful substances, does not contain formaldehyde, and its VOC emissions meet national standards.
Easy to apply
It can be applied by troweling or spraying, and the process is simple.

Construction Technology
- Construction should be carried out when the temperature is above 10°C.
- Thoroughly clean the dirt and dust on the substrate surface. You can use a high-pressure air gun or a high-pressure water gun.Clean with a water gun, but ensure the surface is dry before proceeding with other applications.
- Stir the product thoroughly before use. If the viscosity is too high, add an appropriate amount of water (5%-10%).Dilute to a suitable application viscosity. The dosage of the product is about 600g/m² per 1mm thickness.
- When applying the product, be careful not to apply too thick a layer at once to avoid cracking caused by excessive coating thickness. The recommended thickness for each layer is 1-1.5 mm, and the total coating thickness is 1-5 mm.
- After application, allow the coating to dry naturally, while taking precautions to avoid contaminating the surface coating.
- The next coating step can be applied to the surface 48 hours after application.
Product Packaging and Storage
- Packaging: 25L/drum, customizable
- Store in a cool, dry place. It can be stored for up to 12 months at room temperature in a sealed container. Recommended storage temperature: 5°C-35°C. This product is water-based; therefore, it is essential to prevent freezing, as freezing will affect product performance.
